Lego 70817 – Batman & Super Angry Kitty Attack

Images of the new wave of The Movie sets have finally appeared in internet, and among them, a couple of pics of this entry set, Batman and Super Angry Kitty Attack. It looks quite pleasant and not being a must in terms of playability, it is absolutely a good way to get some really nice mini-figures, which sometimes aren’t easy to find, for a decent price.

This new set that will be available only next December, features three nice mini-figures (Batman, Uni-Kitty, Skeleton) and a few accessories to fight back the black Micro Manager, among a total of hundred and fifteen pieces.

Daily Mirror Polybag Promotion in September

Brick fanatics has mentioned that Daily Mirror will have a new Polybag Promotion in September from 20th till 27th. The list features eight sets from different themes (city, star wars, Chima and Lego movie) and constitutes a nice opportunity for the British fans to get their hands on some really nice polybags.

It seems like the other times, there will be a different polybag on each day and all that is necessary will be buying the news paper, get the token and go to store. The only doubt for now is the retail’s availability, namely in Toysrus.

Lego The Movie 2015 Sets

Idle Hands has posted, again, a few more 2015 sets, in this case a couple of new Lego the Movie sets that will join Batman and Angry Kitty Attack (70817), a small set with only 115 pieces and a retail price around the 10 dollars that was already known since the last San Diego comic Con Event.

The new sets are the Double Decker couch (70818) and Bad Cop Car Chase (70819) that for now now must be treated only as a rumor. Lego 70816 – Benny’s Spaceship

Back to the eighty’s!! The Benny’s Spaceship is a Lego Movie set that definitely transport us to the space era. The space vehicle is considerably big and brings almost one thousand pieces that also include five mini-figures (Benny, Wyldstyle, Astro-Kitty, Emmet with a Robot Disguise and a Robo Pilot). And of course as you might already know the box is completed with a black Robo Police interceptor.

And why does it bring back good old memories? Most of all because of the color scheme that is used: the blue and grey mixed with the big yellow windshield makes me automatically remember sets like for instance the 1985 model, FX Star Patroller(6931) and all the time that I spent playing with it!

Lego 70801 – The Melting Room

It’s not properly new, it’s not one of the most representative Lego movie sets but for the price, its look really nice and with a couple of interesting features. It brings only hundred and twenty two pieces that are enough for the melting room and for three little guys: Emmet, Wyldstyle and a Robot Swat.

As you might remember, the Melting Room represents the part where Emmet was captured by Lord Business and taken to the big melting chamber. Built almost all with small little bricks, it includes a huge red laser that include a control panel at a corner and a small mechanism that allows it to easily change its angle.
