Lego 31079 – Sunshine Surfer Van

The Sunshine Surfer Van is a new Creator set that is available on retail since the beginning of this year. This 3in1 set features exactly three hundred and seventy nine pieces and shows three great building options, where the yellow clearly dominates, to spend some really nice hours of fun.

The Van looks definitely pretty cool and with some nice details to enjoy. The straight lines help to maximize the space and inside there is room for almost everything. At the front, the cab is large enough to carry two decent seats for the couple of figures and the traditional steering wheel.

Lego 41339 – Mia’s Camper Van

Mia’s Camper Van is a new Friends set with almost five hundred pieces and is absolutely one of the best in this first 2018 wave. Looking at the pictures, it presents one of the best Camper Vans that I’ve seen, a camping tent, a table with two seats for the outside, a small brick built tree and two mini-dolls (Mia and Stephanie) with the traditional bunch of tool and accessories.

Having a look at this huge vehicle, the front isn’t much different, in terms of design, of so many other Lego vans, but it’s probably one the few things that is similar. Inside, the cockpit has two seats for the girls and plenty of glass everywhere. The access to the back is quite easy and there is no kind of division between the front and the rest of the vehicle.

Lego Creator 2018 – Two New Sets

In addition to the published a few days ago, a couple of new Creator sets have been revealed, showing two 2×1 sets with great potential in terms of color, fun and playability. My favorite is the yellow Sunshine Surfer Van with two mine-figures that can be easily transformed in a nice buggy.

The other one, the Modular Winter Vacation, is a nice winter cottage with plenty of nice details, being the slide the best of all. The set features also a couple of mini-figures and a small ski area with some nice accessories as the alternative building.

Lego Juniors 2018 Sets – The First Pictures

The first images of four new Junior sets have been revealed on the ToysRus website. The small size sets are based on different Lego themes, namely City and Friends and show some nice colored vehicles and figures to play with.

Emma Pet Party’s shows a nice playground with plenty of accessories, Mia’s Organic Food market has a pretty colored food van, the Road repair Truck brings three simple but useful road repair vehicles and finally Mountain Police chase is basically a small city Police set with three interesting elements.

Lego 41319 – Snow Resort Hot Chocolate Van

The Snow Resort Hot Chocolate Van is a new Friends set that will be available on stores this month. With around two hundred and fifty pieces, it features a pretty interesting round van, two slides, a couple of sleds, two girls (Mia and Amanda) and lots of accessories that include a small table and some chocolate mugs.

I like that van! With an incredible number of different colors, it presents on the roof a big brown mug to attract more customers. The roof detaches easily and one of the sides opens widely, allowing to access the interior and all its details where is possible to find a cash register, some ingredients for the hot drinks and of course the hot chocolate machine.
