Probably, you’ve have already seen these alternative models of the original teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets surfing in the internet, but if not, take a look at them because in my opinion they are not only solid and interesting models but most of all some of them are even better or prettier than the original.
With the exception of the Turtle Lair Attack (79103), all the rest present an interesting model to build. The smallest Kraang Lab Escape (79100) is now transformed in a new little hovercraft, made only with forty two pieces. The pizza at the front and the two small speedometers are really pretty nice.

A couple of weeks ago, two new sets of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles had been revealed. Today, finally, another four revealed their sets boxes, giving a clear idea of the sets not only in terms of size but also in terms of features. The expectation is that all of them will be on stores in the beginning of the year.
Besides the Lego 79102 (Stealth Shell in Pursuit) and the 79104 (Turtle The Shellraiser Street Chase) there will be a lab escape with plenty of color and at least a great mini-figure, a big dragon bike with three nice mini-figures, a hot pursuit with a bunch of weapons and finally a big robot. It’s no longer a rumor, they have arrived with a big colored set, the Shellraiser Street Chase. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles left the cartoons and movies and finally arrived to Lego with this great set. It might be confused, it might be even strange, and you might even wonder what that big colored thing is?
