Lego Speed Champions set boxes have been revealed

The set box images of the new Speed Champions theme have finally been unveiled. Most of the details of the news sets were already known for a while, but I guess that there was a general curiosity about how the set boxes would be.

As you probably already know, the theme presents seven sets including several racing cars (the McLaren P1, the Porsche 911 GT, and the 918 Spyder, and two Ferraris, F150 and the 458), the McLaren F1 Pit Stop, and the F14 and Scuderia Ferrari Truck. This looks definitely in my opinion one of the great 2015 news!

Lego Lone Ranger – Have a look at the Entire Set Line

Being planned to be on stores next April, finally we can have a deep look at the first official pictures about all the sets of this first wave of the Lone Ranger Theme. Despite some of its details are already known, most of all, thanks to the last Toy Fair event, it is always great to see some new pictures and with a better resolution of the new sets.

As it concerns with my expectations, the Colby City showdown looks a good set to add a couple of new and different building to my city and the Constitution Train looks definitely a very accurate machine. What a pity that it’s not powered!

Lego will shrink all the set boxes until 2015

It is not particularly new or even something that hasn’t been debated or talked in the forums but it is always good to know that there is a specific intention of achieving it. Lego intends to reduce the size of the boxes saving almost 20% of the cardboard in the manufacturing and assembling process.

Of course that the environment also appreciates that, after all there are less grubbed trees and less carbon dioxide that is released to the atmosphere. But on the other hand that downsizing represents a cost reduction not only in terms of logistics but also in terms of transportation.
