A new and extremely rare speed champions set has been found on eBay and it won’t certainly be easy to see it many times. Why? It appears, according to the name, that it will be only available as a gift to the F1 Mercedes Team members and who knows, later on secondary markets.
The box will feature the Mercedes Petronas F1 Car and a mini-figure in a total of hundred and twenty pieces. However, lucky, the F1 is not exclusive of this set, being exactly the same of the model present in the bigger Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team set (75883). So gladly it won’t be impossible to achieve it, although with a not very appellative price (around hundred bucks).

Official Pictures of the new McLaren 720S have been recently unveiled, showing the final version of the latest Speed Champions model. And the final result is definitely awesome, with a pretty nice car where the orange color and the big windshield that covers the entire cockpit, highlight from all the rest.
The set includes besides the McLaren, a mini-figure with a miniature of the car, a desk with a mug, a lamp and a computer with digital images from the project. The first image of the new Speed Champions set, McLaren 720s (75880) has been revealed by Lego, on the Facebook page. With a predominant orange color, this new car seems to be a great replica of the original model that has also been recently presented in Geneva, on this year international motor show.
The set will probably be similar to the rest in terms of size and price, namely with around hundred and fifty pieces and a value around the fifteen dollars and will presumably be available next June.

The McLaren Mercedes Pit Stop is another Speed Champions set that will be released next January. With a lot of stuff to enjoy, it brings a McLaren Pit stop, a McLaren F1 Racing Car, three mini-figures (a pilot and two crew members) and a considerable number of additional accessories: a small cart, a couple of spare tires, tools for the mechanics and even a spare front bumper for the F1.
The Pit Stop is basically divided in three areas: a control room in the middle, a refueling station in the left and a big rack on the right to store the tools and the extra bumper. The three sections that, just like shown in the pictures, are attached to each other can be easily separated in order to change their position.
The refueling station Continue reading
