Lego The Hobbit 2015 – Three new sets for Christmas…

Three images of the new Hobbit wave have been available in the internet for a couple of hours allowing seeing what’s coming in terms of new sets. By Lego request, the images have been gradually removed from everywhere, but gladly, it was already possible to enjoy several details.

The three sets have distinct sizes being the smallest, the Witch King Battle (79015) an entry set with around hundred bricks that include a small fortress and three mini-figures (Elrond, Galadriel, and the Witch-king of Angmar). Rumors mention a retail price around the fifteen dollars.

The second one, the Attack on Lake Down (79016) that can be a nice addition to the Lake Town chase (79013) is bigger and features a really nice building with five mini-figures (Two orcs, Bard the Bowman, Bain and Tauriel) among a total of 313 pieces and will retail around the thirty dollars.

Finally the third one, the biggest, will be the Battle of Five Armies with almost five hundred pieces and a price around the sixty dollars. The set box shows two distinct structures (one of them looks a big catapult)which unfortunately aren’t very clear in terms of details and seven mini-figures with plenty of weapons (Dain Ironfoot, Legolas, Thorin, Azog, Bard two orcs and a couple of additional figs).

Globally, my first impressions couldn’t be better, especially about the Attack on Lake Down. The sex boxes give a big help because, as usual, they’re look really great and of course the mini-figures will definitely be great additions to the collection.
