The new batman set intends to recreate a scene where Aquaman is caught on an ice jail by Mr. Freeze and Batman tries to save him with the batboat. With almost two hundred pieces, the core of this twenty dollar set is obviously the black batboat. Besides it, this ice battle includes three minifigures (Aquaman, Mr Freeze and Batman) and the ice prison made with blue transparent pieces on a small platform.
Starting by the batboat, the cockpit is placed in the center where a big windshield protects Batman from all kinds of threats. It opens easily to give a better access to the inside, where Batman has at his disposal a couple of handles, increasing that way the playability of the vehicle.
Four long platforms ensure the boat a good behavior on turbulent waters and the long nose, just in the front of the cockpit, surely increases the aerodynamics and its esthetic. Next to the big cockpit, on both sides, Batman has two disk launchers in order to attack Mr Freeze and its big weapon.
The ice prison has a gray plate as a base and is basically made with two rocky transparent pieces that recreate the ice look. When Batman reaches Aquaman, both pieces split easily with an easy movement and finally the prisoner is released.
Talking about the three little guys, they are surely very nice. Batman wears a white suit which is quite unusual, Aquaman has a great torso and a long hair, and finally Mr. Freeze with its blue transparent mask and a big laser weapon is definitely a great addition to any collection.
