The Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is a Speed Champions set that is available on stores since March. This new yellow car set features only hundred and seventy three pieces that are enough for a fantastic Chevrolet, a mini-figure (the pilot) and some additional accessories that include a camera, four spare rims with an alternative design and a wrench.

Just like most of the other small speed champions sets, I love this car! It’s not particularly big which is good in terms of handling and playability and above everything it shows an awesome design, filled with plenty of stickers that this time are surely an added value.

Like the real model, the V8 engine is placed right at the front where is also possible to find a black grid. The hood is pretty long and extends right to the windshield which is easily removable, as well as the roof, allowing all the possible access to the interior. Inside, there is the usual, a steering wheel and a seat for the pilot.

At the back, almost all the flat bricks are covered with stickers that give absolutely a nice help in terms of realism, recreating the multiple red lights, the four exhauster pipes and the Chevrolet Logo. The black aileron and the wheels are also really good, constituting together with the yellow predominance, a nice color scheme.

Overall, it’s a pretty decent set for fifteen dollars. The Corvette Z6 is pretty well designed with some nice details and looks definitely a good additional element for the collectors. The pilot uses a white uniform with the Logo and the couple of accessories are always useful for the races. Don’t miss it!
