The first images of the new Star Wars set, slave I, have been surfing on Eurobricks in the past hours. The set that brings an Ultimate Collector Series stamp, is considerably big with almost two thousand pieces (!!) and features, besides the big space craft, four mini-figures which through the images seem Han Solo, Boba Fett, a Storm trooper and a really nice Bespin Guard.

The first impression are definitely outstanding, showing some really nice details namely the fantastic cockpit on top, the big door at the back, the long arms that seem to be built with a technic structure, and of course the different weapons that are spread all over the spaceship. The used color scheme seems also very pleasant.

The mini-figures, as always, look also very nice and pretty accurate however in my opinion, the Bespin Guard is surely a level above the others. There is no press release yet, so all the additional details will have to wait until then, however rumors mention a retail price around the two hundred dollars which seem consistent with the total number of pieces.
