What a nice surprise! Lego has just revealed the next Creator Expert modular building: the Downtown Dinner! This huge masterpiece is once again considerably big, around two thousand and five hundred pieces, featuring besides the 50s-style building, a pretty pink convertible and six mini-figures (a chef, a waitress, a boxer, a rock star, a manager and a bodybuilder).
With three different levels, it includes a nice dinner room in the first floor with a lot of awesome details such as a jukebox, some dinner tables, red bar stools and even an open-plan-kitchen. Above, in the first floor we can find a gym with a boxing ring and lots of training accessories. On top, it is possible to find a recording studio with a mixing table, a cabinet and many more features to enjoy!
Outside, it is impossible not to admire the beautiful facade with the big pink “diner” sign and the big arched window as well as some balconies and a stair case. The side walk is also pretty nice and includes a street lamp, a mail box, some flowers and a big ladder right in the corner.
As usual, this building can be attached to other modular houses and the three levels can be easily detached in order to access the interior and admire all the details. The pink convertible is also in line with the stylish Downtown building, showing a nice vintage design with a long hood, a nice cockpit for two figures and some nice curves in the back. The City figures are also pretty accurate and an extra reason to achieve the set.
Overall the images speak for themselves! It’s absolutely another great creator expert modular building. The set should be available next January with a retail price around the hundred and seventy dollars. Have a look at the pictures and official press release:
