Here is absolutely one of my next acquisitions and probably the one that I’m more excited for. The new winter Village is a new Creator Expert Railway Station with around nine hundred pieces and plenty of nice winter details and full Christmas spirit, so typical of these seasonal sets.

The set, as you can see, shows a beautiful railroad station with four straight track pieces and a level crossing with two barriers, a yellow vintage bus, five mini-figures – a pleasant quantity for a creator set –   that include a bus driver, a barista, a grandmother, a child and a ticket agent, and a couple of always useful trees.

The station is absolutely beautiful. With a nice sloping roof full of snow, the building could also be called station corner because it has two distinct sides which is quite unusual in a Lego station. The entrance is right in the corner and inside it is possible to find the ticket sales office and a small but nice café.

Outside, the deck isn’t so long like for instance in the City stations but it shows space for a bench, for same newspapers, a street lamp, a mail box, a small ramp and of course some nice Christmas decorations. The watch tower and a couple of stickers are also very pleasant and surely an added value in terms of beauty.

The vintage bus is also inside the spirit. Forget the technology and design, this is 30’s or 40’s time. A straight design, a manual door, a big hood at the front, space only for the driver and a couple of passengers and the luggage (in this case, Christmas gifts) in the roof makes this bus a must and absolutely a unique vehicle. In terms of playability the roof detaches easily and it’s possible to easily access to the interior.

Overall, it’s simply a must. With winter details, the station is very beautiful, the five city figures are quite well chosen, the bus is unique as I said, and best of all, the price seems quite appellative: eighty bucks which makes this set a quite interesting deal.
