The Pteradonon Chase is a new Jurassic World set that has recently been revealed by Lego on this year’s New York Toy Fair event. And for a fifteen dollar set, it looks pretty cool featuring a chase car with some nice features to play with, a pteranodon figure and two mini-figures (Owen Grady and a Tracker), with hunting accessories.
I like this chasing vehicle. It has a raised suspension with big wheels, capable of surpassing any adverse obstacle and the engine looks also big and powerful. The cockpit isn’t very large and shows only a small windshield at the front. On both sides, this time there are the usual small doors that give the car a friendlier look.

Lego has revealed pictures of some of the new Jurassic World sets, as well as some additional information. The first important point is that this new theme or concept will be across different existing themes, namely the regular systems sets, juniors, duplo and a few collectable BrickHeadz sets with limited availability.
For now, it is possible to observe the new Blue Helicopter Pursuit (75928) a set with around four hundred pieces that will include a blue heli, a quad bike, a green dinosaur and plenty of action, the smaller Junior T-Rex Break (10758) out with the biggest tyrannosaur and finally the Duplo T-Rex Tower (10880).
Have a look at the details and Continue reading
The Gallimimus Trap is a Jurassic World Polybag that will soon be available on retail. It has only twenty nice pieces and brings a small green dinosaur and a small machine that intends to be a trap to catch it. And honestly, I must say that is a pity that it doesn’t feature any mini-figure (a shooter or a vet for instance). It wouldn’t increase too much its price or even its size and would surely give it more interests.
The Dinosaur has a pretty color combination mixing green with dark red and its muzzle expression is definitely very nice. The front members seem also to move which is nice in terms of playability.
The trap machine is built Continue reading
The Pteranodon capture is a new Lego set that belongs to the Jurassic World theme which will hit stores next summer. It has only one hundred and seventy four pieces that will feature a blue helicopter, two mini-figures (a pilot and a shooter) , both with different weapons, and of course a small Pteranodon.
I like this heli. It’s not very big which is good in terms of handling and playability and it brings some really nice features to enjoy. The cockpit at the front has a long windshield that opens widely and inside it’s possible to see a printed control panel and two yellow handlers to maneuver the machine.
The landing gear is also quite Continue reading
The Raptor Escape is a new Jurassic world set and the only one from this new wave that was still unknown in terms of look and features. It will bring a bit less than four hundred pieces and will feature a sort of containment station, a cool ATV, two mini-figures (Vet and Berry) and a couple of Dinosaurs named Charlie and Echo.
The station, at the first glance, looks highly secure, with lots of stuff to difficult the Dinosaurs’ escape but, as the set name suggest, they will definitely run out from the station. In terms of playability this idea looks definitely great.
The station has Continue reading
