Today is the day! A bunch of 2018 sets from several themes have been unveiled and Friends is one of them! Twelve (!!) new sets make part of this list and the final set list might not be completed, there are still some holes in it.
As usual, there are sets from different sizes, some of them are surely nice additions to the bigger, but in the end it’s impossible not to highlight Stephanie’s Sports Arena, the Mia Camper Van and the biggest, the Friendship house. Pretty interesting for sure!
A bunch of images from new 2018 Polybags have been published in a youtube channel (Freedom Bricks), presenting fifteen (!!) new bags from different themes including Star Wars, Super-Heroes, Ninjago, City, Juniors, Friends, Disney, Creator and finally a single one from Duplo.
There isn’t for now, any kind of details about piece count, prices or eventual availability on Markets, but the pictures give a pretty decent image of the individual detail on each one. I must say that I especially liked a couple of city bags, namely the hotdog stand and the road worker.
This is probably one of the most enthusiastic Friends set with a lot of stuff to enjoy and play with. The new Heartlake Hospital was release in the beginning of June with the rest of the first wave of sets, but there’s always something new, every time I look at these picks.
This Friends set has exactly eight hundred and seventy one pieces and features a three floor hospital with an heliport on top, a pretty but small helicopter with a rescue stretcher, an ambulance, lots of additional accessories including a small cart, a wheel chair and a bicycle and four figures: Olivia, Dr. Patel, Henry and Baby Ola.
The Snow Resort Chalet is a Friends set that has been recently released. With a bit more than four hundred pieces, it features a nice and cozy snow Chalet with plenty of different colors and stuff to enjoy, especially on the inside, a snow mobile, a small rack with skis to rent, lots of additional accessories and two mini-dolls: Andrea and Amy.
If we just knock at the door, surely we can’t imagine all the space and features that it shows inside. The entrance as well as the building itself, it’s very simple, with a couple of steps at the front, the classic wood walls with a few flowers, a small lake at the corner and the sloping roof filed with snow. But once we get in, the fun begins.
The HeartLake surf shop is a pretty Friends set with plenty of seaside colors and nice small elements to enjoy. With a small size, featuring only hundred and eighty six pieces, it shows a small seaside building, a purple kayak, a small rack with a couple of boards and a mini-doll, Mia, with the usual accessories.
The surf shop is not very big but definitely looks nice. Built over a couple of sea and sand plates, it has at the front some sand and water as well as a small harbor. The access to the shop is made through the sand and just right next to it, there’s also space for a nice chair where Mia can have some hot sun baths.
