Lego 70400 – Forest Ambush

The Forest Ambush is the smallest set of this new wave of the castle theme. It has exactly ninety pieces which is enough for four regular mini-figures, more specifically two red (dragon) soldiers and two blue (lion) soldiers, a small cart with a treasure chest, a wall with an interesting flick fire missile, a tree next to them and finally a dog!

The cart is very simple to build and at the same time has a few interesting details. It has a handle to be pushed, a couple of clips probably to store the weapons, a few strategic studs to attach the chest, a couple of flags and even a kingdom’s flag at the front. The big wheels are the usual ones used in this type of vehicles as well as its axes.

Lego 70401 – Gold Getaway

Here is another interesting Castle set. It isn’t one of the biggest, far away from that, but for twenty dollars you’ll surely get some interesting stuff to play with and if you’re particularly a fan of this theme, this is another great chance to add extra stuff to the bigger sets such as for instance the King’s castle.

Lego 70403 – Dragon Mountain

Let’s safe the princess and recover the treasure! But be careful because this time, the red army has a fearful allied: the big dragon! Yes, the red and fearful beast as well as the warrior and the sorcerer will make everything to avoid the rescue of the beautiful princess and the big arch of gold!

The Dragon Mountain is a new castle set with almost four hundred pieces, besides the big and detailed red drag, has a considerable fortress with a small prison, four great new mini-figures (two blue soldiers, a red soldier and a sorcerer) and a great catapult that belongs to the good guys (or not…), the blue army.

New York’s Toy Fair 2013 – Castle and Friends’ new set pictures

I guess that this Toy Fair show, which was held in New York, has definitely brought us almost all the news as it concerns to the new summer sets.  From Castle there was already some information about the new sets, however there we’re still a small number of available pictures that could show us more details about them.

The girls’ favorite theme revealed, I guess, all that will be released this Summer and I’m sure that the fans will definitely be delighted with what’s is coming up next Spring and beyond it.

Lego 70402 – The Gatehouse Raid

The Gatehouse Raid is a new Castle set that will be launched next summer, probably on August. Looking at it, I must say that I have opposite feelings. For one hand, it looks really nice in terms of beauty but on the other hand, when I think about the new castle, this set automatically gets very insignificant above any perspective.

However, I must admit that I’m being unfair because every single part of it is pretty well accurate.
